A credentialed teacher with experience with working with special need children is available to assist your child in any subject he or she is struggling in. Most special need individuals are missing major foundational blocks in basic education and concepts, not just academics. We can help fill in those missing gaps. Some examples are prepositions, community signs, shoe tying or understanding metaphors. Click Here for more information

Social & Behavioral Solutions
Many children , teens and adults come to Inland Empire’s Right-Direction because they struggle socially making or keeping friends or they have challenging behaviors, need to better manage impulsivity, defiant behavior, anxiety, and other struggles. It is natural for a student to seek friendships, but often a child, teen or even adult, is missing the awareness of appropriate social cues and positive communication to bridge the gap with others. When an individual has difficulties making friends, gets made fun of, feels like an outcast or is bullied, it can lead to a child, teen or adult withdrawing socially or can lead overcompensation in other ways. Both can have an effect on the person’s self-esteem and can lead to other challenging behaviors.

Everything is interconnected and intertwined together. The reality is that everything has the potential to cause us stress, everyday and every minute. From our alarm clock in the morning, the food we eat, the personal care products we use everyday, the people we come in contact with, the people who don’t stay in contact with us, to the most important; the thoughts that are continually going through our brains.
Parents of a special needs child are almost always under more stress than the average person; especially moms. And quite frequently the special need individual has high anxiety and stress levels.
